Rain and more rain, but luckily when we are travelling around the weather has been great. We spent 3 lovely days with Trish and Barry on their canal boat. Lovely little villages, with fascinating names. Miss Worthingtons Field, Coven, Acton Trussell, Great Haywood. The canals are very busy, holiday here, We would park the car and then travel on the boat, with our bikes and then bike bake to pick up the car and move it up to the boat. Lovely rural countryside and not as many locks as was in the Birmingham area.
We had a delightful day with Valerie and Alf Youall at Coventry. They are the benefactor of the Blenheim Trust, of which Vern is a trustee. Alf is 95, and sharp as a tack. They took us out to lunch and we were able to look around their beautiful property in Coventry. We hope to return again to visit them, its only 1 1/2 hr drive on the motorway.
Tony king is visiting us at present, wow!! hes a great visitor, has been working in our huge garden with great avengence. Up with the larks as we sleep on!!
