Fossicking in Wales

Vern has had the OK from the Cardiac rehab nurse, that’s the end of him slacking around!! He’s into mowing the lawns and fixing the machinery. Much to my relief is driving the car !!!
We’ve got the lawns ship shape , boy they grow fast, with all this rain, and warm temps!! Eat your heart out NZ!!
Last weekend we went to north Wales. Through lovely narrow valleys, quaint towns, all with flower boxes and narrow narrow streets. We stopped often and walked and fossicked. Drove along the coast from Prestatyn to Great Ormes Head, thousands of holiday makers, and many caravan parks and camping grounds, all looked a bit bedraggled in the intermittent rain .Great Ormes Head has a huge fort like stone wall, we walked around it, started out in sun shine, but soon we were bedraggled too in the pouring rain and wind. Stayed the night at Conwy,in a YHA, a fascinating walled town with castle. The next day went down though Snowdonia, deep valleys, slate and copper mines. All very interesting.
We now have purchased bikes so the next instalment will be how we manage them and the traffic.
